Roselands Bowling Club

Habit8 was commissioned to produce a landscape concept plan and construction documentation for the redevelopment of the Roselands Bowling Club. The construction of the project was completed in late 2012.

The scope of works included new streetscape treatments, carpark planting and internal club landscaping. The entries to the building were highlighted using a palette of exotic and native plant material. Semi-internal landscape was included in the gaming and dining rooms and a palette of bamboo and shade tolerant plants were used to bring the feeling of the outdoors inside.

A new bowling green was also added to the revised masterplan and landscaped with suitable height planting so that shading would not affect the growth of the specialised turf. Low water use plant species were used extensively across the site to decrease the clubs reliance on water for irrigation.
