Habit8 was engaged by Hone Constructions to produce landscape documentation for a multi-unit development in Roseville. The site consisted of a large area of existing vegetation and significant landscape setbacks to the front and rear of the property. Our design approach involved strengthening the existing vegetation pockets with new planting including trees, palms, native grasses and tree ferns. We made the rear of the site accessible and a feature for residents to enjoy. The frontage was planted with native plants in a pattern that could be viewed from units on upper levels. We integrated tall palms and tree ferns into the foyer core of the building so all levels can view foliage through windows and balconies.
