Brigidine College

Habit8 was engaged to upgrade the landscape areas adjacent to Brigidine College’s new multi-purpose hall. A concept was devised to meet the client’s brief of creating a flexible play and teaching space doubling as an attractive landscape backdrop of which the school community would be proud. A paved stage area surrounded by seating steps creates an outdoor classroom and social meeting point while sculptural turf areas were placed to transform a steep, unusable site into an highly aesthetic and functional recreational area. Flowering tree and shrub plantings were selected to create a vibrant, seasonal backdrop to the student’s learning experience.
